Vijay's Thalaivaa is certified with a U, which was initially granted U/A by the censor board. Thalaivaa is sent for a revising committee to gain a clean U for tax exemption. And now the producer Chandraprakash Jain of Mishri Productions, succeed in his attempt and finally acquired a U censor certificate with 2 minor cuts. Thalaivaa confirms Aug 9 release based on earlier reports. Sathyaraj and Santhanam play key roles in Thalaivaa that has cinematography by Nirav Shah, music by GV Prakash Kumar and editing by Anthony among the technical crew.
